"At the end of the day" from Born Bjorg is smooth with a nice touch of groovy dynmanics. Following the chicago house spirit they assert their rise towards an innovative musical collaboration.

Search and Find
The track "Search and Find" does'nt have a long story, it has been recorded over a weekend ; Stefan Kranz's wife was looking for something in their house and going mad about it. This probably influenced strongly the atmoshphere of the track.

It has been now four years since young producers and djs Lionel Coudray and Pascal Viscardi, known as Born Bjorg, worked the crowd on the turntables around Switzerland and beyond. Holding a residency at Geneva’s famous Le Zoo (Usine) since early 2008, the duo has already shared the bill with several international artists in notorious clubs and festivals in Switzerland (Weetamix, Mad, Electron Festival) and abroad (Paris, Naples). Their first EP, released in 2010 on genevan based imprint Poor Records, got the immediat support of many top international djs. Their music witnesses a strong addiction to the groove and a reverent love for new and old school underground dance music, blending jackin’ house and techno as well as disco or funk altogether. |
Stefan Kranz was born in a small town near Saarbrücken in the very West of Germany. Music has been his passion since he was young: Stefan Kranz is usually listening to many different styles and has been collecting tracks for ages. Since the late 90's Stefan Kranz has been doing many club-events or big parties as a regular DJ with some well known musicians (e.g. Beanfield, Fauna Flash, Richard Dorfmeister, Daniel Haaksman, Sascha Dive or Phonique and many more...). He has also been performing around his hometown as a resident-DJ for many years. At that time he was playing mainly Jazz, Nujazz, Dub or Downbeat-Style, but also House-Music. Later, he found his identity in Deep and Techhouse-Sounds and is now in the process of creating is own tracks with deep-techy, groovy and hypnotic sounds.
